Friends and supporters of Simon Kirby, MP for Brighton Kemptown, have rallied around the embattled MP following an article titled ‘Is Simon Kirby a Freemason?’ was published by Matthew Taylor PMP on his election campaign website ‘Getting Ready for 2015.’

Asking the question, Is Simon Kirby a Freemason? The article highlights the inference made in the Houses of Common’s by the Shipley MP Philip Davies, that Simon Kirby is an ‘Old Hand’ and achieves ‘a lot better than what many others can hope to achieve’, following the passage of their Disabled Person’s Parking Badges Bill, which is set to become Law, following ‘a nod,’ which enabled the Bill to progress without a Second reading in the House of Commons.

Friends and supports fight back in favour of Simon Kirby.

Image‘BlackCherry’, a self confessed Shaman from Brighton posted in the political UK debate forum that the Freemasonry movement, would be privileged to have a man of such good standing and decency to be included amongst their ranks.

BlackCherry praises Simon Kirby for being a ‘Good Samaritan’ who undoubtedly carries out many acts of kindness, of which he prefers to keep private.

Simon Kirby is a Good Samaritan.

BlackCherry goes on to say, “Let’s hope that if the Masons have sought out this MP for membership that they have found he is an honourable and upright individual. Simon’s work here in Brighton has been outstanding and nobody involved with him would want to see him replaced. We are privileged to have him as our standing MP and I shall be personally pleased to make sure he sees this Topic, if only to remind him who his friends are and of others who may not be worth that good fortune.”

Many in the political UK debate forum agree with BlackCherry’s defence of Simon Kirby. Pro Veritas, says, ‘Taylor is very big on bullshit conspiracy theories’ and invites readers to ‘take a look here to see the delusional drivel he comes out with’ by including a link posted by Matthew Taylor which criticises the Royal Family.

ImageToryBoy, adds his support to Simon Kirby on the Indy-media website by lambasting Matthew Taylor’s ambition of winning the Brighton Kemptown election with “You have NO chance of winning an election and becoming an MP and if its like your PCC campaign it will be laughable. I hope you do stand so you can embarrass yourself by getting about 50 votes from all the street drinkers in Brighton who are probably your mates.”

Even the Freemason’s of the World leap to Simon Kirby’s defence.

ImageRick Whitehead tells Matthew Taylor to, “Have a listen to yourself will you!”

Before going on to say, “So because he manages to get a bill through Parliament without a second reading, automatically he is a Freemason?”

Criticising Matthew Taylor’s character further with, “You have a very poor style of debating, almost instantly resorting to insults, as evidenced by your opening post on your link.”

Another prominent Freemason who wishes to remain anonymous, (as do the majority of Simon Kirby’s supporters) shows his support by saying, “Our laws being passed without due process is an entirely different discussion. You have made an allegation that it happened because Simon Kirby is a Freemason. You have no proof of that.”

Matthew Taylor responds with deviance saying “I stand firm and I beg to differ Sir. I am asking a question whether Simon Kirby is a Freemason based on what was said and done in the House of Commons, as recorded by Hansard.”

Simon Kirby has yet to respond.
